To my white self: you'll lose color and empathy at the same time

And one who thought of life as an optimization problem knew nothing about freedom; And one who ran faster everyday never arrived at creativity; And one who successfully became an efficient individual felt the alienation at the same time; And one who ran away from death experienced no life.

And remember, how many ideas rushed into your head when you were walking towards no destination; and remember, how everything became more beautiful when your PCR came back positive, so beautiful you decided these bullshits deserve to be published.

And remember, the obsession to efficiency and the addiction to productivity give birth to the illusion of control; and that, like any other parents, they'll do their best to make you follow the philosophy of pain avoidance at any cost; and that, the followers of that religion will always be scared of catching a cold, swimming in a public pool, and falling in love; indecisive and headless, he will miss the train of life, waiting for the no-pain state to arrive.

And if you forget, you'll be bleached, like white farmers whose planting and harvest seasons take so long, they are unable to enjoy their product without guilt. And if you forget, you'll lose your color and empathy at the same time.
